    Light control module

Before I possible waste time trouble shooting was wondering if someone has seen the following problem. I had a sudden problem in that the light warning panel lit with both headlights showing error. Working properly when parked got the error 20 minutes later when started. Headlights work fine and all lights I tried are working. Is this likely a problem with a connection or where to check first. Guess I better check the fuse to the LCM first but after that? Thanks for any help.

Check the front turn signal sockets. They burn the center contact. The bulb indicator is for any bulb on the corner of the car not just headlights.

I'll check them tomorrow. I just checked the lights and all burn normally.

That happened to me a couple of times. I think it was corrosion or oil on my city light bulb’s. Took em out, wiped em down, and put them back in. No issues for the last year.
If I were to give my Touring a first name, I'd probably name it "Alan".

Light panel showing both headlights out.

I found the problem and likely you won't believe it--well I guess you might. The problem was both license plate lights were out due to a broken wire at the flex point of the harness between the car body and trunk lid. Why license lights showed up as headlights is the big question. As they were the lights that were out of vision in daylight and out of mind (what little I have left) were found during the annual car inspection. Thanks for everyone's help.
