So originally I had a car that wouldn't start - Had the car jump started bought a new battery problem solved...
Nope
Car had a slow battery draw that was killing the battery- Asked around kicked the car a few times and finally chased the parasitic draw to a faulty heating AC panel (IHKA control panel). I bought a new panel, easy fix, the parasitic draw was eliminated.
Jumped in the the car feeling very smart turned the key and...NOTHING. I charged the battery, I jump started it at the hot point under the hood and directly to the battery. NOTHING - Just a click all the lights are on the dash works Heating and AC work fine...But it won't start.
Any idea what I did wrong or broke or what I might need to check next?
Or should I just abandon all hope?
THANKS
Repeated discharged of the battery damage the battery’s lead plates. I’d have the battery fully charged with a proper charger and see what happens. You may have to replace the battery.
