$7k Laguna Seca E46 M3 Cab - Good idea?

Hi all,

I found a Laguna Seca cab (03?) for sale near me for $7,000 with 92k miles and an SMG. I called the number on the windshield and was told that the car has a rebuilt title. However, I was also told that the car was purchased for 13k last summer and had a new top and headlights since then (and a few other things). However, the high beams will not stay lit for some reason, so it is uninspectable. And it needs new tires. I looked at a few of the body of panel gaps (hood and doors) and they looked fine. I’m posting here because I want input as to whether it could still be of value for the price (its listed as $7k obo) as I’m not so familiar with the E46 M3. I’ll appreciate any feedback.
