very small drop of Oil on my Garage Floor

    Hello,

I have a Z4M with 55000 KM ( CDN ) on it. Last week I noticed a small small drop of oil right under the engine on the garage floor. I check the engine with a flash light and could not see anything.

The car has very low KM and barely drive the car. Any idea what it can be ?

    Thanks

Could it be the drain plug ?

    Almost impossible to even guess,
considering there should be a belly pan/plastic cover below engine.

    Hell, it might be honey?!
I'm thinking your significant other doesn't like how much you pamper the car more than them so they put a drop of honey under it to make you think it's falling apart and you'll part ways with it?
    Just a thought...

Manual transmission or automatic? I had a 2008 with an automatic tranny and approx. 30,000 miles when I sold it in 2016. I stored it during the winter months sometimes for 5 months without starting it. I found that each winter the transmission oil pan gasket would shrink a bit and allow a few drops of trans fluid leak out. In the Spring I would clean up the few drops and as I was driving the car regularly during the Summer and Fall it was drip free. Take a close look at your transmission oil pan, as your low mileage seems similar to my situation.
