    Semi auto handle

I recently got a 99 M3 very with a hardtop. Just got a chance to remove it to see the condition of the soft top. It's in ok shape for now. The issue is that there is no handle to lock it in place, as well as I can't seem to lock down the toneau cover. Tried to look at realoem, but can't figure out what I need. Halp!

Most M3 convertibles were full auto softops meaning you just push the button on the lower dash and it does everything. Only semi auto and manual tops had the handle on the header panel. You can run your vin on a decoder site and find out what you car's original equipment.

Thanks for that info. I used to have a 95 vert that was semi auto with the handle. I just assumed it was the same. Will run the VIN later today, and see what I need to do.
