Make your E31 trunk surface rust free again

Just started this project with of my local e31 friends.

I will update as it progresses. Not a one day job.

1)Take everything out of your trunk including batteries and unclip and get it naked.
2) Use wire brush, I am using a Dremel tool with wire brush head and start cleaning process
3) Whats needed eventually when the surface rust is cleaned off, is in below pic
4) I will update the thread as it progresses

I did the same on my car, with the wire brush and rust converter.
Previous owner/s had painted the boot black and it hadn't occurred to me until after I bought the car that it was a bit odd (my car is blue).
