My 89 325iC has 160k miles (I've owned since 158k) and so little by little I'm sorting out things that need attention after years of neglect. Rear tires are on the list... tread is fine but there are cracks in the rubber presumably just due to old age. I'm looking to replace with 195/65/14 and finding the pickings are slim. Best I've found is VREDESTEINSPORTRAC 5 at TireBuyer. Has anyone gone with a good conservative tire and ventured into other sizes? (stock rims)
Thanks
I’ve been looking into this recently, but there really aren’t that many options on 14 inches anymore.
I went with the tires you mentioned and I really like them btw. For street use they do perfectly on both dry and wet surfaces.
Don't do just the rears.
