how to add oil to new a/c system (not compressor)

My rebuild compressor has 3oz PAG in it and the rest of the system (all new) needs another 3.75oz.

I tried adding to the receiver dryer which "refused" it. Is there a technique here? Can I simply pour it into the lines?

Call a mobile AC tech. He can add it during the evacuation/fill process.
