Searching for a BMW X5M opinions needed

Hello,
I've been a BMW fan for long. Finally decided to take the plunge into a BMW X5M.
I can afford to buy a car for up to $30K. I see some nice 2011-2012 cars with around 80K-100K miles. Some with exhaust, software and even nice wheels.
The other option would be to buy a 2013 stock.

Question 1. Do you think it is a bad idea to buy withh 100K miles?
Question 2. 2013>2010/12?? What are the differences other than headlights?

Can't decide.. Help please
