Not much going to change here ....
1) Merc
2) Merc/Ferrari
3) Merc/Ferrari/RBR
And here come Mercedes with some interesting updates. Goodbye to Vettel’s challenge unless Ferrari are planning to unveil updates this weekend too. With 75 points available these three weeks, the Scuderia can’t go to Silverstone having lost back-to-back races.
1st) Ericsson
2nd) Stroll
3rd) Alonso

Merc has just been managing the appearance of a competitive season.

I'm just here for the thug posts.
Great work by Merc, 1-2. The updates are working well. Haas showing some pace. The thug Vettel once again showing up. He blocks Sainz, almost causing a collision. That grid penalty places him next to Grosjean. I see massive carnage at first corner between these 2 degenerates.
Merc continues to brilliantly manage the championships. Bottas allowed pole at the Austrian Autocross after doing the needful last weekend driving into Vettel. Well played Toto.

Best race in a while. First double mechanical failure for Merc since 1955

Damn double dnf, strategy fail etc. This second engine has major flaws. Merc sucked today. Congrats to Max
Thug move on Wahmilton was beautiful. Wahmilton tears on team radio were delicious.
Thug got lucky there. Car ahead was pitting forcing Ham offline to marbles and the thug closed in under DRS.
Yea, Amazing. Silverstone cant come soon enough
1st, 2nd and 3rd were the only cars on the lead lap, 3.1 seconds apart.
4th through 12th were 1 lap down.
13th and 14th were 2 laps down.
5 cars DNF, 3 of which are consistently in the top 6.
There was a few good overtakes in the opening laps, too little overtaking during the race.
Tire issues made the race better, but only if teams pressure choice was the cause. I'm sure Pirelli will say it was pressure or set up.
Better than Canada and Monaco, but not the better than China.
Passing alone does not a good race make. That's a fallacy brought on by the aero making it impossible to race closely anymore. It was exciting because the cast changed and the expectations were subverted; heck, by 3/4 distance you didn't know who was going to finish where, or even at all.

Then there was that moment when the Red Bull PR guy gave Max a cap to wear while being interviewed by Webber in front of 400 million viewers and he promptly stuffs the cap into his helmet. Marketing skills.

I'm a Kimi fan boy but, honestly, you've got to tip your hat to the man.
At his age, when reaction times and motor skills start to go, he shouldn't even be competitive.
