Question DSC and BRAKE lights on after headlight repair! Help!

So my beloved M3, by far my newest and fanciest car, failed inspection because the right headlight was pointed too high and wouldn’t adjust down. Not being the type of guy who buys $1500 headlights, I pulled the wheels, fender liners, and bumper. I fixed the headlight and reinstalled everything. Now when I start the car, it says the DSC is disabled and the BRAKE light turns from red to yellow when I drop the handbrake. I’m going to jack it back up and have a look for any obvious damage but can someone tell me exactly what to look for? Did I do something wrong?

I would examine your wheel speed sensor connections,
you may have disturbed/disconnected them when you pulled the fender liners.

I checked for obvious signs of damage and found nothing. The car is saying it’s low on brake fluid. I thought maybe it would be as simple as just topping off the reservoir but when I checked it, it’s full. Bad sender, right? IDK the pedal seems soft now too. I give up. It’s going in the shop next week. I’ll post the results.

Soft pedal and Red brake warning light indicate air in system,
perform a system bleed or have a shop do it, as you seem inexperienced.
    Better safe than sorry!

So, the DSC just started working as I was taking it to my local indie shop. They said it had a code for “steering angle sensor implausible.” They chalked it up to low battery voltage since I’d been messing with the headlights for two days and, with its big fat rejection sticker, I didn’t drive it anywhere. Soft brake pedal might have been in my head. Car was actually asking for a flush. Anyway, everything works now and I had them flush brake fluid and put in racing fluid. My headlight repair even passed inspection! All is right in the world now.
