My E38 Project...................DSP Rear Deck Subwoofer box with Monsoon Speakers and Metal pulleyed window regulators NO longer for sale (click link to see how to make your own)....................................
That's a great idea! What's the price?
I make a heat shield for my abs pump I used a flat piece of aluminum sheet there are threaded holes on the aluminum body of the pump that aren't used so I bolted it in to that plus is used a nut between the body and the plate to step it off. Also I have a fresh air hose that blows on the the pump. I fabricated an air scoop inside of my right fog lamp so it's always getting cooled. Plus I vented the decorative cover that covers the coil packs and removed the rear center hood seal between the two micro filter housings so the hot air has some where to go
Is this an issue for us?

Yes, the heat kills the ABS module and it's $600 to replace it. My car is on the second module, replaced in 2012.

These guys charge $99 plus shipping. They're local to me, but the in-person customer service sucks. They have no clue whether or not your module has been repaired, or what was wrong with it. They hand it off to a tech and pray(in my opinion)

These guys charge $149 plus ship last I checked. They know what they're doing, and amongst my tech friends, have the best reputation.
