    Reinforcement plate question

My 330 has the front aluminum reinforcement plate. There appears to be a little door space on it. I've looked on real OEM and other sites. Is there actually a little door to seal off the plate? I live on a gravel road and there are always rocks getting stuck between the plate and the underside of the car. Does anyone know how to find one?

    You mean this:

Mine was missing too. Probably on a shelf at Jiffy Lube where the tech left it the last time the PO had the oil changed.

    I do what I can.

I ordered mine from the Lithuanian seller and was surprised that it didn't take that long to arrive. My plate was missing the little piece that the cover bolt attaches to so I just JB Welded a small bolt to the plate (pointed DOWN of course) and use a finger nut to keep it secure. I did have to remove the attachment bolt that was on the plastic cover.
