Engine malfunction after coolant transfer pipe repair

    Hi all,

I just completed the coolant transfer pipe repair with the uro pipe on my 2005 645ci and am now getting the following codes. I am posting in the 5 series forum as well as we share the n62 engine and am sure some of you have had the coolant transfer pipe issue.

    P0301
    P0300
    P0308
    P0302
    P0303
    P0304

Upon starting it idrive displays “engine malfunction reduced power” message and the car idles very rough. Rpms jump between 200 - 1300 and eventually the car dies. I thoroughly cleaned all the injectors, replaced injector o-rings, cleaned the throttle body, replaced intake manifold gaskets, cleaned the mating surface and intake runners. At this point I’m at a loss and could really use any help/suggestions on what it could be. I know all of the above codes indicate a misfire at cylinders 1,2,3,4, and 8 as well as p0300 indicating multiple misfires, i just can’t seem to narrow down the cause.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Recheck your work on the wireing harness to coil pack connectors. Sometimes they don't want to mate properly, even though they appear properly mated, would be my first spot to check.

I’ve checked my work 4 times now and everything that i touched was seated properly. Just pulled the intake manifold again and found some oil on the manifold gaskets. Is that normal?

Upon further inspecting everything, i may have scratched the manifold up a bit on the screws protruding from the engine that are responsible for seating the manifold when reinstalling. Could this be causing the manifold to not seal with the engine properly? I have no clue what could have caused the gouge in the last picture though.
