    Protecting Top while it's down?

My top is in reasonably good shape, but I'm seeing wear spots near the bows. I assume the spots are being created while the top is down, is there a way to protect the top so they dont get worse? The rest of the top appears to be ok although I do need to replace my rear window sometime.

    Thanks,
    SteveG

I've had those worn spots on the canvas for years, and they haven't appeared to get worse.

I put a big thick old towel over rear of the top and the window before folding my manual top. The towel goes into the folds and I think it protects the canvas as well as the plastic.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give that a try.
