A friend of mines father recently passed away, and my buddy is selling his dad's 2012 328i Coupe. It's got 51k miles, has been garaged, meticulously maintained at the BMW dealership...
I posted something on reddit last night, and got one persons feedback, which was super helpful, however, I figured Id go to a dedicated BMW forum for more info...
He said the main things to check are the three main seals, and probably the water pump.
I learned the chassis is an e92, and its the last 3 coupe and last of the in-line six 3 series naturally aspirated motors.
Aside from that bit of knowledge, he noted that BMWs are great if you are all about preventive maintenance.
As this would be my first BMW, I figured I would reach out to the forum for any added info about the car Im looking to get, as well as anything helpful a newbie BMW owner would need to know.
Essentially any helpful thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.
Here are some pics of the car.
