Buying parts to replace a timing belt/camshaft seal and this video I'm watching calls for this red o-ring that goes on around the camshaft seal. Anyone know what this part is called or the part #?
Sure,
Link the vid,
then we can all watch,see,
and identify the specific part you're referring too!
Yes, the part is called a cam flange O-ring, and they're almost always red in color. The part number is 11121265087. If you're tearing down far enough to do this O-ring (and you should), you also need the camshaft seal, which is part number 11121284154. Do NOT forget to loosen the Torx bolt holding the cam sprocket before loosening the belt.
