Today i completed the twisted seat repair. It went very smoothly. Took the bottom off by removing the four torx screws and then it was a piece of cake. It was made easy by following a write up that i got from the forum. That's why I wanted to say thank you . It would have been much harder without the write up. I was able to get the seats adjusted and back together the first time. Now on to the next adventure which will probably be new lens and adjusters in the headlights and brighter angel eyes.
I second your comment would never had been able to fix it. I could not even imagine that shortening the cable cover would be a viable solution. I also purchased the new adjusters just need the time to try to replace them.
Nice. its a weird failure mode that's for sure! But being able to just do a cut-paste is so much better than having to buy parts!
