Hello to all,
I would like to ask some note regarding my measurements. Is it normal ?
If not what could be the problem ?
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum!
A large lack of data here. Showing a RPM vs as oxygen sensor doesn't tell me much.
What is the car doing? Are you at normal operating temp? Do you have any codes?
Lastly, you have a "Facelift", not a LCI.

Hello Dworthy,
thanks for your reply, I thoughg so its abbreviation is lci, but seems to be i was wrong.
Yes, its at operation temperature. I have a feeling its consuption is a bit high, I know I drive in a city but 16l/100 km ,bit too much. I just had a trip, 120km, it was a bit more than 10L.
O2S1 and MAF wad just replaced. ( at idle 1,75g/s)
From today

I am new to this forum, not really know how does it work. I have seen something that my reply is under moderation, but nothing happened up to now.
Well, once again.
Thanks for the feadback, my problem is that I have a feeling that the consuption of my car is high. In city 16L and just had a longer trip (out side of the city) 10L. O2 and MAF just recently replaced.
As you are new to the forum, all posts up to 10 have to be approved manually by a moderator, that is the socalled spam-o-matic of the forum, just be patient.

Yes, for a 318i that is quite high for fuel consumption. So what else have you done from a maintenance standpoint? What is the KM stand? This can just be a bad oxygen sensor or perhaps a failing one, which should be changed around 160k km to 200k km.
Also weak coils and old spark plugs can cause bad fuel mileage too.
The LCI classification started with the E-6x cars, just like anything else names change, but it too means that the car is the "updated" version.

I forgot to shaere one information : ~ 250 000 km
Do you know if the oxygen sensor(s) have been replaced? Most people will say that they are not going to replace them until you get a code, but why wait until it too late with a code?
You are getting spikes in the oxygen sensors, so with that thought in mind, it can be several problems:
1) Old sensors, taking too long to read/react
2) Vacuum leaks
3) Poorly tuned motor

Hello
Yes, just recently: upstream O2d, MAF, airfilter, the fuel filter ~2years ago and yesterday I cleaned the Vanos solenoids
Then start looking for intake leaks. Inspect the rubber boot between the MAF and throttle body. Also there will be a couple of other vacuum lines on that motor, check them out too. If any one of them is cracked from age, just replace it.

Today I was parking while I made a short check.
I hold it on a constant rpm then let it fall back to idle. Stft gone minus and plus as well. Is it normal or something wrong.

Please check it and share your ideas.
Thanks
The DME will always attempt to make the air/fuel ratio 14:1, or try to get as close as possible. What you are looking at is the STFT which means Short Term Fuel trim. That is nothing more than the injectors getting adjusted based on the inputs to the DME.
So what brand of oxygen sensor did you install? It seems to be a bit slow on the adjustment, but that too can point to a vacuum leak in the system. So before I give you any more advise, confirm for me that the intake is sealed properly.

Hello again,
As I have read, some told normal stft between +/-3%, others say +/-5%. Mine is a bit more, out of that range. What is strange for me ( but I am not an expert so may be that is normal). Take a look at 12:30, I released the gas pedal so RPM falls, but O2 says rich condition too much fuel, next time frame stft increased to 6%. Why?
I used ELM327, maybe that is a shit, slow or lagging, so I will have soon K+D Can cable. Then I will repeate the measurement.
Question, how to check the intake manifold ? Do u have some suggestions ? Thanks
(O2 sensors are from BOSCH, brand new)
Sorry I missed your post.
The best way to find a vacuum leak is to use a smoke machine. What it does is pressurize the intake and wisps of smoke come out where the leaks are. Once you get that checked, and more than likely you will find a hole or two, it should fix the rich problem.

Hello,
Sorry I am a bit also slow. I don't have so much knowledge about the cars nor stuffs to repair, but I am reading and checking youtube videos
Well meanwhile my K+D Can cable had arrived. So I downloaded INPA and have seen the followings: (I hope I've attached thepictures)
- big difference between actual/activation on inlet side
- big difference between actual/activation on otlet side
- adaptation is in the red zone.
I've also red this post about the vanos :https://bimmerprofs.com/rough-run-vanos/
If I am not mistaken and above mentioned "VANOS" and the my tab about "camsaft-position" is the same, than I have a problem or what is you opinion about it ?
Thanks
Yes, that does look bad as what the DME is requesting, and what is actually going on is very different. Sadly the N4x motors tend to have problems with the VANOS at times. See if this works: Clear the adaptions and see if that helps.
P.S. The VANOS on that motor is just an electric motor.

Unfortunatelly with INPA I can delete simple adaptations like, lambda probe, or idle. I have not found a possibility to delete the adaptation of the camshaft. Nevertheless I used "delete all", but it stayed the same.
Okay, I would try to find a BMW shop who know that car and see what they can do or tell you about the VANOS.
