I've discovered that my LOW PRESSURE shrader valve appears to be leaking. The valve looks like it can be replaced in it's entirety from the line, I could be mistaken.
what is the normal process for repair, is the internal stem and o-rings only replaced?
realoem.com shows the following part numbers and would like someone to confirm
64-50-9-177-577 and 64-50-9-177-576

I replaced both of them (high and low) based on real oem. Did the whole thing (like the part number you provided). Not internal parts. Had to replace all the parts of the AC except the lines. Evaporator, condensor and shrader valves were leaking. Compressor was weak
The refrigerant + Pag oil have dye in it. So before you start working on it, check all the joints, condensor, compressor area and if possible, the evaporator (from the side) to see any leak. Doing all at once is easy. If you are replacing any parts, make sure you are using the right O-Rings
There is a very clever device which lets you change the schrader valve without discharging the system. They are $20-$50, depending on the quality you want.
