HomeLink garage door opener - weak signal

Is there any way to increase the signal strength of the garage door opener?
I basically have to go an inch from the door to have it opened
Other remotes working fine with the same door. Does it have an antenna that I can clean or something similar?

    Thanks!

Hope so, mine slowly went bad and I added a visor clip one. Love to have it gone.

Same here it worked fine a few months ago. I'm not going to spend $450 on a new one, so likely end up using a visor one. Maybe taking it out to see if any antenna connection in it, doesnt seem like that from the pictures.

You can get one from a junkyard for like $10. I've never had an issue with mine. Opens the door down the street. Maybe it's your garage door antenna and your current remotes are super strong?
