I guess when car was brought over they added these bars inside the door. Would you take out or leave? They sure didn't bother me until I knew they were there.

I took them out on my past grey market cars
Me E30 87/ 325i + F25 12/ M-Sport + E32 94/ 740i
G/F’s E34 92/ 525iT + F48 18/ X1
I left mine in, but the ones I have are constructed better than yours. If you ever got T-boned with those, they look like they would separate in the middle and turn into a puncture hazard. I would pull those out, probably safer without them.
They do look look like they would snap on a mild impact. Probably made to put some 1/2 assed govt inspector to sleep. I left mine in as they were made of either heavy tubing or bar stock with a tab welded on and looked nice. I removed the shizzy looking bolts they used and got a nice chromed allen head cap screw to use and they look like they belong there. I guess something is better than nothing??
