    Max Lumen’s Headlight Adjuster Kit

Has anyone used this kit that might be able to assist me? I just installed the kit on one headlight and it came out pretty good. However, I seem to have an odd sized gap between the bezel and the headlight lens but I’m practically out of adjustment to correct it. Is this a normal amount of space and I’m just being retarded or did I do something wrong? I followed the kits instructions on bmw8. The only thing I can think of is part of the instructions tell you to thread the adjusters in fairly low to the cup on the bottom side and then the top side is where your adjustment range is. I’m thinking if I thread that out a little more I’ll have the spacing I need.

Looks fine. Honestly this is the main reason I like the euro headlights - The glass is the entire face of the light assembly and doesn't have the gaps.

I managed to actually get them a little more flush so I’m just going to run it and match them up. Hopefully one day bmw will just make adjusters again and I’ll get it all perfect then

Yes. That’s normal. The sealed beam headlight glass is designed to be floating so it can be aimed correctly. As such, it does not touch the front frame and actually sits ~1/4” behind it at the bottom and ~1/2” at the top when aimed correctly.

Thanks man I appreciate the info. When I took it out it was sitting flush with the frame so I wasn’t sure what I’d done wrong if anything. I guess the adjusters being broken attributed to the fitment
