    If it was simply a failure in the gasket it may work, however, I would imagine that if the bolt is tearing out of the block, then the 2 surfaces really aren't even mating anymore. I don't know that stop leak could do anything about that. I could be wrong, just my thought process on it.

    I've seen it work 100% of the time, to clog the radiator, heater core, and ruin all the new cooling system parts. Absolute male bovine excrement! The "funny" part is having to scrape the hardened masses out of the thermostat housing and hoses and other cooling passages when you end up with that new engine, and you've ruined the entire cooling systen.

    Just throw a few tubes of two-part epoxy in there, if you're really determined to kill the car.
