Newb Questions (ASC Based)

Hello to all,

I am new to both the e36 and BMW world. I just recently purchased a 94 325is with some work done to it. It started its life as an automatic but now it has a 2.8L block, M3 head and cam, m50 intake, ZF 5 speed, M3 rear subframe with LSD.

My goal is a simple track car but I noticed when I took it to a skid pad that I couldn't get it to slide about or even do a burnout out. I looked everywhere inside the cabin for a Traction control button or something to turn off whatever was restricting me. I can find anything!! Where the ASC button would normally be located there is no buttons, just a cig lighter socket.

I have done a fair about of research regarding the ASC but can't for the life of me figure out if my car actually has it or not. There is no second throttle body but there is this wire/line that runs from the single throttle body to this module thing behind the driver headlight assembly

My question is did my car not come with traction control or because of its original state, is it permanently on? How do I disable this? What can I do to get rid of it?

If there is no second throttle body, then ASC is disabled anyway, even if the 328i DME thinks it has ASC.
With the mentioned engine specs it should go into a drift very easily.. So that's odd.

The wire that runs to the driver headlight area is the cruise control mechanism. That shouldn't interfere at all.
