My daughter drove my car and hit a couple big boulders busting front and back passenger tires. Knocked the back wheel back half inch, busted both wheels and front wheel leaning in really bad at top. what could cause this I’ve checked everything and compared sides and measured everything can’t find anything different. Still drives great can’t tell there’s anything wrong with it except the stabilizer bar a little bent. The tie rod doesn’t look bent or the lca. The strut looks ok. Also the car looks like it’s sitting a little lower to. I just can’t figure it. Could someone please help? I would post pics but can’t figure out how to use pics from my gallery. Thanks so much
The car needs to be inspected by a good independent BMW shop then if no damage is found it needs to be aligned. The front strut sheet metal towers can be popped up when you hit something hard. I wouldn't recommend driving it until its inspected.
I echo post above: it seems like there will be considerable damage, hopefully only to replaceable parts.
You need to get it up on a lift and thoroughly inspected,
at a reputable BMW shop,
or dealership that can inspect and provide a detailed estimate (itemized parts + labor),
this way you have a parts list if you attempt a DIY,
or make a decision to compare shop prices.
