New 8 Series Release alongside the E31

As mentioned in the E31 Chapter newsletter, we are encouraging 8 owners to contact their local BMW dealerships to see if they would like to include the original E31 alongside the release of the new 8 series. Today I visited the local dealership and spoke with the manager to see if they would want to do something to include the E31 alongside the new 8 series release later this year. Needless to say, they are very excited about the possiblity. They said the release looked to be toward the end of the year, and that they really would like to "do it up right" with a special event and include the original E31 8 alongside the new 8.

I would recommend you contact your dealerships and see if they would like to do something - our local dealership is very excited about the possiblity of doing something.

Good thinking. I'm going to reach out to my local dealer in Fairfax VA next week. It can only help e31 values.

I contacted my local dealer in Silver Spring,MD, and made arrangements to loan them my 850Ci for a side-by-side comparison. They well contact me when a new 8 series has arrived.
