    Belt Part #

Does anyone have a part number for a serpentine belt when you remove power steering?

I have the belt cut to the correct length and plan on going to the parts store on my lunch break to see if they can find a belt that will work

I figured i would ask if anyone has a part number to help the process go quicker

They will be able to quickly measure you belt and pull that length from shelf.

I knew I saw it recently. From Condor speed shop FAQ.

    Q. What belt do I need to use when deleting the power steering from an M5X/S5X motor?

    A. Dayco 5060555 6PK1410 (S50 Swapped E30, E36) or K060560 (99 318ti m44, E30 4cyl, E36 4cyl)

Btw how do you like it with no PS? You don't hear about deleting PS too much for E36s

good to know! never even thought about looking on their website, silly me!

I should know after this weekend. I haven't driven it yet, but i have had one that was looped a long time ago and it wasn't bad at all. Hard at a stop to turn of course but that was the only thing i remember being that different.

    Update

Dayco 5060555 6PK1410 fit perfect! I even have an under drive pulley on the water pump from ECS Tuning and it fit great!

I know I am reviving an old thread, but it took me FOREVER to find this information.
I decided to remove the power steering on my M3 race car because I have had 2 failures, one was the rack seals blew out, and the other was a pump failure. Both of these ended my weekend early.
So I got the delete block and Im going to see how I like it turning 18x10's with no power.
Like benny I have underdrive pulleys on both the water pump and alternator. I am going to try the 1410 but I will also get the 1415 and return whichever one doesn't work.
I think this should be easier to find. Maybe Ill make a new thread with the subject being Belt Part Number Power Steering Delete.

By the way its been a year since you've done this, how do you like it? I will update once Ive gotten the right belt on and driven the car.
