    Oil Level sensor issue

I have had issues with the oil level sensor for some time now. It was always reading the same at 1/3 qt low no matter how much was in there. I just replaced it with a new one and only put 6 quts in to see if it would read at the low setting, but it is still reading exactly the same at 1/3 qt low. Not sure what to do next. Just drive it for a bit longer? Sure miss the dipstick.

It takes a few minutes for the sensor to get a reading, but it sounds like yours is dead. I don't recall specifics but I believe it's not difficult to replace.

The new one finally started reading correctly after awhile. Looks like mission accomplished.
