    removing the supercharger???

Hey all, I purchased a 95 m3 about a year ago with a vortech v2 supercharger installed. I am thinking about removing it. Can anyone tell me what is all involved in removing it?

    Thanks!

Are you looking for like step by step what it involves or are you more wondering what things would all be included to go back to stock?

LOL. I'm not terribly tempted to add a SC, but if I had one I don't think I'd be terribly tempted to delete it....

It depends on who made it. Dinan, RMS or VF..

In a nutshell. you would have to remove charger, injectors, chip, and take out the HFM scaler ( if using the stock 3.0), rerout the charcoal can, the horns, belts, a new idler near the alternator, install the airbox, hfm, new chip. at a minimum.
No matter where you go, there you are...

I've always wanted one, like the simplicity (IMO) over turbo for a street car.

Its been 2 years since I removed mine. And give or take this ^ Taking it off is the easy part. Going through it and cleaning it up properly and posting it is the pain lol. My kit is still in my basement.

I have Schricks in my car that I put in at the same time as the supercharger so when I took the kit off I opted to get an NA tune from Epic and since I had to take the 42lb injectors out to keep them with the kit I sourced 24lb injectors and a 3.5 MAF and Intake. Made it alot nicer since everything was out already. Firgured I might as well. Really happy with it even without the SC.

ERT is an older kit correct?

I am thinking I do want to remove it. Anyone out there interested? I would be willing to swap some parts in order to get back to original.

I am trying to find someone who would swap parts. Since I would need additional parts if I take it off. Cai, tune, ecu, and not sure what else
