Selling for a friend. This car has been owned by the same family for 13 years and 90K+, has been very well maintained its entire life. Working, non pixelated odometer reads just under 191K miles.
If you know, you know. Last year of production, only 5000 E34s delivered to the US with a manual trans, very few in this color. This car is a find.
Mods:
- Straight back exhaust
- Vogtland springs/Bilstein shocks
- Clear tails/corners from Abrams Motorsport
- M5 rear filler plate
The good:
- Engine runs flawlessly, one of the strongest M50s at any mileage that I have ever driven. No leaks, smells, ticks, etc.
- Clutch and starter were done less than 30K miles ago - Bushings are all in great shape, car feels smooth on the highway and planted in corners.
- Tires replaced within the last 10K miles with Nokians (top dollar all season/snow tire)
- All interior electronics (aside from OBC/rear windows) work with no problem, including the original radio + CD changer
The bad:
- CDV (clutch delay valve) sometimes acts up and should be deleted
- Car very occasionally pops out of 1st - Shifter bushings are functional, but worn - AC needs a recharge
- OBC is non functional
- Rear window motors are out
The ugly:
- Paint fade on the roof
- Front valence is cracked and no longer supports the left foglight (foglight/wiring is intact and in the trunk)
- Sunroof headliner is falling out
I have been around this car most of my life and can attest how well it was maintained mechanically. It's a blast to drive and will make a great driver for a loving enthusiast. Asking $2600 OBO.
