Hey Guys,
This is a basic one and I have searched just looking for a confirmation since I cannot clearly see where the leak is coming from and wont be able to get under the car till next week.
Does this sound like the "Slave Cylinder" is leaking?
Today I noticed some fluid on the floor of my garage... When wiping it up with a paper towel it looked to be a brownish color on the lighter side... I run LiquiMoly oil which is kinda
greyish/black in color so I am pretty sure its not my oil also I did an oil pan a few weeks ago and there was no oil by the flywheel it was bone dry so I dont think its my rear main seal.
[ I had an oil pan leak, So before cleaning there was no way to decipher 2 diff leaks ]
When your slave cylinder leaks is it common to drip down the bell housing and almost appear like its coming from between the engine and trans??
At first im like shit REAR MAIN SEAL but then it didnt look like motor oil, Another sign im thinking its the slave cylinder is that my car is an OBD1 Vert.
They have a metal skid plate underneath thats painted black, I noticed where this fluid has landed and sat on my skid plate has made the paint bubble
up and peal right off. Now im pretty sure brake fluid will eat paint, Not oil.
Any info would be greatly appreciated, Hoping to take a closer look next week.

Brake fluid will bubble paint, sounds like you are on the right track, it would likely be dripping out the drain hole in the bottom of the bellhousing.

Well tonight I put the car up on jack stands and didn't notice much visible wet besides the bottom of the bell housing.
Pulled the SLAVE Cylinder and found my problem ( as suspected ) The rod can be pushed side to side almost like its
broken inside and fluid will pour right out of the seal..

It's normal that the rod is loose side to side. It should not be leaking though.
