2015 F34 N20 timing chain issue?

Just bought my first BMW, a CPO 2015 328I F34 and have been reading now about issues with the N20 timing chain and chain guide self destructing the engine.

Anyone hear of any issues with the 2015 model years? I think mine was built 6/14, has 38k miles on the clock.

I absolutely love the car, and after being a vw/audi fan for years, this car had definitely crossed me over. I'd hate to lose it over this.

The N20 timing chain parts changed with models built in January 2015 and after. If you hear a whining noise I’d definitely take it in to be looked at.

Mine blew at 40K. total engine loss. dealer replaced it within 4 days. Zero out of pocket cost, 2013 328i RWD N26
