    Alpina B3 Headers on a S52

So a couple months ago I found a set of Alpina headers for sale, I tried looking for some info on them or
sound clips but did not find much info on them regardless I bought them as i'd only seen a set of these
    pop up many years ago.

The design is amazing and looks to be the best of both worlds shorty style but with long runners. I had them in storage for a bit and recently got a chance to finally install them, ordered some o2 bungs and bellows from vibrant performance and had a local friend fab up the stock midpipe to fit the Alpina headers.

I re-used the Active Gen3 catback i've been running, and the midpipe has the cats deleted (PO had them removed)
The results with this set up along with the Alpina headers is suprisingly quieter than the stock s52 headers
but at WOT it screams a wonderful motorsport sound. I did feel a minimal amount of torque loss I guess combined with the M50 manifold it was gonna occur, but as soon as it hits 3k it just pulls up top.
Currently running on the stock map so definetly gona need a tune to balance everything out, hopefully some
cams in the future along with injectors and 3.5 maf.

Took some quick video/sound clips but i'll try and get some tunnel runs later on

Those headers look nice - equal length, similar to Euro headers or Raceland or Euro Supersprint.

I've got a Eurosport 3.5" carbon air intake with an AFE dry filter and heat shield that'd go nicely with your 3.5" MAF. I'll sell it to you for a nice tidy sum! I've also got a Bosch 800 3.5" MAF with about 500 miles on it. But then I don't think that's the right MAF for your car.

    Neat.
They should make better low/mid-range power if anything. Clear adaptations and drive it a hundred miles or so. It may wake up after that.
