    1998 BMW Z3

    low power

    When pressing the gas pedal in neutral, only goes to about 4000 rpm. why does the car have low power??
    car is a 1998 z3 with the 4 cyl. engine

    Obviously the wheel bearing are bad.


    86 325es, 2.8L m50, S476sxe, ProEFI 128 ecu, e85, solid rear axle, TH400 trans, 28x10.5w slicks, zip ties, popsicle sticks, tape
    best time 9.06 @ 151.8 mph, best 60 foot 1.30

    It obviously has low power because no turbo has been installed. To fix it, remove the engine, install an S52 with a 6766 turbo or similar. This should sort out that pesky low power issue you have.
