Have you checked the coolant level. Does the temp control knob feel move easily. Any resistance. These cars can be a little tricky to fully bleed the coolant system according to some here but the best advice has been to remove the top hose from the rad and fill from there. Also the thermostat may be stuck open. Generally the temp gauge will be at 12:00 when at operating temp if it's consistently below or dips down when accelerating that's likely what's causing it

The control knob seems to move pretty easily is that a good or bad thing?

I replied on Tapatalk but don’t see it on here yet does it have to be approved first? And the control knob seems to move fairly easily

What is a common point of failure is the knob snaps in the rear for the temp control (mine has this problem also) It basically is stuck on cold, or cannot open the door fully for hot, For me sometimes if I move the knob all the way to hot, and turn it on full blast, I think pressure alone will move the door. And same goes for switching it back to cold. But you only get two settings... full hot or full cold lol.

No heat could have any number of causes, but a very common cause is a dangerously low coolant level--it would be wise to check (when it's cold).

No, you just check the level. If the coolant level is so low that it is not even high enough to fill the heater core, then you will have to refill it, and may indeed have bleeding issues, which can be somewhat troublesome, but not the nightmare of overheating due to to low coolant level--remember that blown head gasket we were talking about...
