There has to be a decent scrapyard out your way to save this car...it's so dry out there everything seems to last forever! Any E28 528e or 525td would be a great source of chassis parts.

I have a parts car on the way, should be arriving in mid-July. The car has no title and front-end damage, but it was on the road as late as 2014 IIRC. Pittsburgh is really hard on cars so I'll thoroughly check the rear pans & frame for soundness if you might be interested.

Greyhound Express is pretty cheap for larger parts I've heard.

CoPart actually has two E24 up right now.
First one is a really nice looking car, and unfortunately it's clear over in Spokane:

I'd bet it's too good for parting out. Donated car, clean title, but it's a reserve/on approval auction. Bidding is a little over $2K.
    There's also a rear-ended '88 in CA, current bid is $675:

I've been watching two E24 over my way. Both are most likely parts cars.
The first is a stripped but supposedly running L6. Looks pretty ugly, probably a rust bucket, only $2k:

The 2nd one is a pretty scabby '89 auto over in Philly, he's looking for an unrealistic $3500 (and doesn't respond to emails):

Otherwise, I know of a very nice L6 for sale, probably around $10k.
Did he or she find the title?

if there is a good project car in Colorado, I’m more than happy to pick it up.

    Dave,

I wholeheartedly agree! Colorado is great for classic cars. The leather inside them is a different story. I’ve been scouring the local classifieds and will continuously do so.

I know where you can find a totally 100% rust-free, mostly sorted one... Oh, look at that. There's a picture of it right below this post

No, sorry, this one isn't free.

    '84 Euro 635CSi Polaris/Pacific, for sale (maybe)

I would love to have a pre-sorted car. Especially yours! I love the Polaris combo and the Style 5’s but I think it may be frowned upon by the future family in law. The fiancé and I are traveling for work but we will be having the convo of what to do with the current rust bucket in the garage. Trust me, I’ll keep you posted
