    Graffiti E36 M3 Coupe--Track Car with S50 $6500 OBO

    1995 E36 M3 Coupe with S50 Motor
    Attachment 631217

    Price: $6500 or OBO

    Mileage on chassis: 243252
    Mileage on motor: about 15k.

Car is street legal but for the track. Stripped interior. I bought the car in 2013 as a track car from a mechanical engineer who did the S50 rebuild, as well as the suspension, steering, and tranny work. He sold it before he tracked it. I've tracked it mainly between 2013 and 2016 when I bought a GT3. Maintained from 2013 to present by Edge Motorworks in Mountain View.

All receipts from me and the prior owner.

Motor is very strong with excellent pull from 3500 on. Best part of the car is the Z3 steering--transforms the car from sluggish to responsive and easy to drive.

Custom graffiti paint job (not wrap) by Eon75, well known SF graffiiti artist and muralist.

Car is decently fast, with a 2:03 at Thunderhill 3mile/crows nest on BFG G Force tires.

    Problems:
    1) an electrical drain that I've been unable to locate. Have installed a Battery Brain that automatically cutoffs of battery supply.
    2) wiper on passenger side heavily scratched the windshield. Got caught out in the rain storm last year and the wiper blade broke off during the rain, and I had no option but to continue on home just to see.
    3) track tires are fully used up and need to be replaced, but the car comes with an extra set of wheels with new Hankooks on them.
    4) needs new rear e-brake shoes.

Car has current smog good to July 9, and I'm out of town after June 27, so buy now.

Otherwise, I'm going to leave the smog to the next buyer. Will include stock exhaust system and airbox, but you'll need to swap and run 100 octane to smog.

Location: Near Twin Peaks in SF.
