E36 M3 race car, newly rebuilt S52 engine

Selling my '95 E36 M3- no time to race. This car is fully set up and ready for the track. It has a freshly rebuilt M52 engine- one race weekend on it. It was rebuilt with ARP headstuds, etc (Rebuild by Texas Track Works) The car is fast and can easily run front of pack. This car has always been professionally maintained (SoulSpeed Performance-Austin). I have folders of receipts going back to the original build (previous owner). I ran NASA GTS2 in it but it would be a great BMWCCA, WRL, AER, etc. All fresh fluids, needs nothing. You couldn't build this car for anywhere close to this number.

    - Fresh M52- one weekend
    - M50 intake manifold
    - Hard wired transponder- no subscription needed
    - TC Kline dbl adjustable suspension w/ TCKline camber plates and H&R race springs (750# / 900#)
-TC Kline rear aluminum lower control arms
-UUC multi adjustable sway bars – front and rear
-All bushings connection points replaced w/ race parts

    BRAKES/WHEELS & TIRES:

    - AP Racing BBK w/ Ferodo pads ($2,800)
-Rear – Std BMW OE calipers in good cond. with NEW Perf. Friction race pads. New rotors in box- spare.
    -SS brake lines throughout
-BimmerWorld carbon fiber backing plates / brake cooling ducts

    -2 sets >> 17"x 9" SSR Comp H's

    INTERIOR:
-Complete Bimmerworld Fire system (3pts on driver >> 2 to eng. compartment)
-COBRA Evolution Kevlar seat with side head protection (good for up to 36”/38” waist)
-Seat back additional restraint bolster mounted to cage (as seat is now over 5 years old)
-Schroth 'Profi II' - 6pt belts per Joe Marko @ HMS
    -Multipanel race rearview mirror
-SPARCO suede steering wheel with easy access radio buttons
    -Quick release steering wheel hub
    -IO-Port Camera mount
-Radio box and wiring for in-car radio

    AERO/ Body:
-Flush mount hood latches – professionally installed
    -Bimmerworld rear wing
-Bimmerworld Max Velocity front splitter with stand-offs (also have identical spare)

    New in the last year:

    - AP Racing BBK w/ Ferodo pads
    - Dr. Vanos rebuild
    - Coolant reservoir and cap
    - Thermostat
    - New plugs
    - New Fluids (oil, diff and trans)- Brand new- zero hours
    - Rear CV Joint replaced
    - Solid rear bushings
    - New fan clutch
    - New side window net
    - New radiator expansion tank and cap
    - Idle air control valve
    - CSF oversized radiator
    - New euro 3.5" HFM
    - New Bimmerworld Max Velocity Evo II track splitter w/ standoff mounting kit
    - New water temp and oil pressure gauges
    - New VAC seat sliders (not installed)
    - Roll cage mod to satisfy NASA requirements

Have spares- rear rotors, brake pads, front splitter, box of other parts.

This car is ready to go and you get the peace of mind of having a fresh engine. It is a race car so has the standard scratches, small dents, etc.

Car is currently set up for NASA GTS2 but can easily run other classes with other organizations. Weight is roughly 2,700# with ¼ tank gas. It has the max restrictor plate to get it down to roughly 200hp. I believe the HP was around 270 with no restrictor.

    $18,000

Does the car have a M52 or S52? Also you mention it made 270hp without the restrictor, does the car have big cams and all the supporting mods?

An M52 is unlikely to make 270 HP. Are you sure its not an S52?

stripes on the engine cover, likely an S52. Friendly Friday TTT for a handsome 36 track build.
