In the past year, I bought a 2013 328i convertible (Liquid Blue Metallic) in great condition. Unfortunately, I went outside yesterday to find a big hole I had never seen before in the front bumper. Being a relatively newbie to the car, I'm still learning, but I assume it was a cover for one of the sensors. Can someone shed some light on my problem - and more importantly the best (and cheapest) way to rectify it? It looks like if I got another one, it would just snap in and I could do it. (Is that true?) But where to get this cover part for this model/color and how much would something like this cost? I have comprehensive insurance, but i wouldn't think it rises to the level of needing to use it. Thanks for any help/advice.
Tow hook cover. NABD.
Are you gonna eat that?
Certainly tow hook cover (hook is in trunk).
Call dealer and get quote, provide your VIN for paint info.
You can buy one online for about $35 painted. I had to get a rear one for my car.
