    Just got the engine in!

The engine is in finally it fired right up with no bad sounds at all:p but it has a bit of rough idle when the temp got up. Any ideas why? I havent really looked at it as im currently on work and dont get home in the weekdays. I just rememberd i forgot to put a clamp on the line that goes from the pcv to brake booster could that make the idle rough?

I developed a warm miss while I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago, I changed the spark plugs, and it got worse. I couldn't do anything else until I got home. When I finally returns, it turned out to be 2 bad coil packs.

Any leak after the MAF will cause all sorts of idle and running problems. I do not have clamps on any of the hoses on the intake system except the one on the TB and MAF. A close inspection or a smoke test should find a leak. I have seen several posts for the gasket on the TB leaking.

Looking good! Is it an M60? Does it have any trouble starting once it's warmed up and running rough? If so, might be as simple as your coolant temp sensor going bad. They will cause rough starting / rough running only when warmed up (typically).

Yepp it's a m60. I have not really started it more than once I did not finish it until late Sunday night. So I did not really get to diagnose it much before I had to leave. But I will definetivly check it out when I get home. Thx for tip acs I will do a smoke check for vaccum leaks

Ahh fantastic! Always a good idea any time you unplug more than two connectors to wrap some tape on the end and write a little note what it goes to haha. I actually put some permanent tags on a few of mine, to cut a bit of time out in any future work. Glad it's all sorted
