    CSi - Rear diffuser???

My rear CSi diffuser finally fell off because the moulded u-shaped plastic tabs on the rear bumper are all broke so it had nothing to clip on to (except the few rear clips on the special bracket)

    1. Anyone have a rear CSi diffuser for sale??

    2. Any way to physically attach it to the rear bumper once the tabs break off or do I need an entire new rear bumper as well?? If so...anyone have a spare rear bumper with the tabs intact?

Screw it on! I lost mine - and then found it again in the middle of a roundabout the next day.

I used smaller screws for attachment to the bumper - got it exactly in place - drilled pilot holes - removed the spoiler and drilled clearance holes in that - and then screwed it all together. It hasn't come of again yet!

Looks like I painted the screw head the body colour as well.

Great idea! Thanks Timm. Will have to reorder and paint a new one....mine’s lost on the highways somewhere in and around NYC.

Or I wonder if there is another type of fastener used elsewhere on the car that could be incorporated eg. expanding rivet?

It's my understanding that the tow hook cover part is now NLA.... I bought the last kit I could find on ebay (and paid almost $200 more than the individual parts combined) just to make sure I got the tow hook cover... Just fyi

Can someone clarify if the tow hook cover comes with the purchase of the diffuser or is required to be purchased separately?

Would be stupid of them to sell the diffuser with a cover being NLA....although it would surprise me.

Calling on the 3-D printing guys.....

It does not come with the cover. As far as using off the shelf BMW parts for sturdy attachment, you can repair broken and missing posts on the bumper with plastic epoxy bonder and some paper clips. I'll have to snap some photos for you.

Attaching the bottom can be done using a few different methods. I like using speed nuts on the bracket and then nylon bolts with locktite. The original design is poor and the clips damage the paint on install.
