DIY - Low Cost Headlight Restoration

I just recently restored the headlights on my 1994 325is. As a lot of people know, these things are known for yellowing and becoming discolored over time due to the UV exposure. I've used a couple kits from Mother's over the years and showed the process in this video to hopefully help some people out.

Good job! I like using sylvania restoration kit for the headlights.

I would add some lamin-x film or take the lights to a body shop and have clear coat applied. It will help maintain the clear lens far longer than the the liquid protectant that comes in the kit.

I applied Lamin-x film a week later, just did not include it in the video.

But yes those are good ideas to do. Eventually you will have to redo the process if just using the kit products.
