Tracked my stock 2016 M4 at Thunderhill yesterday and my Michelin Super Sport PS4s virtually melted into hot goo in the 103° heat. I picked up a ton of marbles and the tires’ grip became unreliable enough that I called it in early.

I kept my tire pressure below 36 PSI after each session, 4 PSI above the manufacturer’s recommended 32 PSI on the door jamb. I’m now wondering if the pressure is too high?

What pressure are you running when you track your car? Do you use a different pressure when it’s hot out?
