Style 5 Basketweave Wheels (14 inch) with Winter Tires

I have a set of four 14 inch basketweave wheels for an E30 (Style 5 - Standard on the E30 325is and some "es" models). They are perfect for someone wanting a second set of wheels to mount track tires onto, or for someone who just wants a set of basketweaves to replace their current E30 wheels.

When I bought my 325is, the previous owner had a second set of OEM basketweaves in the trunk. They were a light gray color, no tires, and no valve stems. I did some DIY sanding and painting to brighten them up, mounted winter tires and installed new valve stems on each wheel and used them as winter wheels for a season.

The tires I mounted are a great set of 185/60r14 Yokohama Ice Guard tires (including the new rubber valve stems for all four wheels). Although it's now summer and you may not need winter tires, they are great in the snow and would make for an awesome set of winter tires for next winter season. The tires themselves are in good shape with about 50% of the tread remaining on the tires I had on the front and about 70% of the tread remaining on the tires I had mounted on the rear. (Tread life pictures included in this post)

Prior to picking up the wheels, I will make sure to thoroughly clean them to make transportation nice and tidy for you.

Unfortunately, they do not come with the OEM center caps, nor did I ever have center caps for them. (I don't want you to think I am keeping them for myself.)

Price is negotiable as I know it's not the right season for winter tires. But, keep in mind that these wheels can be used for track tires, or to paint silver for that clean, factory "is" look and to mount your standard tires to. No matter what you decide to use the wheels for, you can hang on to the winter tires for when the temperatures drop again.

Asking $550 OBO and pickup near 15237 (or Greater Pittsburgh Area)
