Pay it Forward Subframe tool, Clutch slave tool

Paying it forward as these were the same for me, thanks Tim.

I have both tools that I will send to someone that will be doing these procedures, under the same premisis as I received these: that you use and offer to someone else that needs them. Both tools are homemade but effective, I will no longer need. Let’s keep them moving!

First person to reply that u need them (both tools or individually) I will send, must be mainland USA, PM me your address and I will get in the mail sometime this week.

If this is the wrong area, my apologies but thought better here than main page.

    Have a great day,
    SteveG

It’s the one using a piece of pipe and a long bolt and washers. I took a photo with my iPad and not sure how to post from it. The slave tool is two bolts, a piece of flat stock, and nuts. Both worked well, I did end up using a c clamp on the bushing tool to keep the legs from spreading. PM me your email and I’ll send a photo.

I could defiantly use the subframe tool. I plan on doing the bushings in my car soon. Just trying to get the courage to tackle getting the bushings out lol

Benny, it’s not that hard, I thought the same but with help was able to get it done. Follow the tutorials on the internet, you should be fine. One thing that Tim who has done his and mostly mine used was a jack between the car and rear trailing arm.

the hardest part was getting everything apart and back together.

Let me know what u want to do.

This is very nice of you. I rented the BMW specialty tool to do my car a few months ago.
