I’ve recently fitted hydraulic steering to my Z4, but have an issue with each the steering wheel being quarter turn out. The centred position of the hydraulic rack seems to be throwing out of alignment the interconnecting shaft key ways.
Anyone else experienced this this and offer any help?
Also, has anyone managed to get rid of the warning on the dashboard by coding, and offer any advice?
cheers, Iain.

No help here but I would get on YouTube and see who's already done this update and send them a message to see there thoughts on your issues?
My initial search on YoutTube came up with a few questions that the fella who posted kept referring to this post: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=92858
So maybe read thru all that and maybe ask on there as others probably have done this who may have input?

I recently done the conversion, I have the quarter turn out also, will be getting it back with a 4 way alignment, I had the EPS pulled out of column, but still had the electrical plugged up. I had zip tied the eps under the dash and I did not get the steering wheel light on the dash. What was interesting was the EPS rod was still spinning left and right when I turn the steering wheel. I finally unplugged it and the steering light on the dash came on....I guess I will ride with it on, but I love the Hydraulic steering...
I had the alignment done and the steering wheel is back in order, the car feels real good with the Power steering pump and lines.....I would recommend..the conversion..I have a 2007 Z4 3.0i and the Power steering brackets and mounts is not there like the earlier Z4.
