No spark on #4 cylinder only.

I have a 05 X5 6 cylinder. This started yesterday. I have no power at the coil at cylinder number 4. I have moved the coils and it does NOT follow the coil.I replaced all of them 3 months ago. If I disconnect the plug to the #4 coil when it's running there is no change it still misses. I changed the plugs this morning. It throws a code ...Misfire cylinder #4. I have cleared it a few times. The engine runs rough at idle and it comes back. I have disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and it is STILL there
    .
There is no distributor so what tells the voltage to go to the coils.

    ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Find the wire circuit and check resistance from the coil connector to the other end, most likely the ecu plug. Make sure all grounds are connected and there is no corrosion on the connector or a wire broken out the back.
