E36 M3 AASCO lightweight flywheel

For sale is a used AASCO lightweight flywheel for an S50/S52. This is a very old model, there is no part number on the flywheel itself so I cannot 100% confirm its an AASCO.

I called AASCO and its about $110 for a new friction surface. The one currently on the flywheel is in decent shape but why skimp when you have the transmission out.

This was run with a stock E36M3 pressure plate and unsprung E36M3 clutch disc. It did not chatter very much surprisingly. The clutch pedal grabbed very low for what its worth.

This flywheel has seen a lot of action in my E36M3 and it felt very smooth, no weird drivetrain vibrations. I would, however, get the flywheel and pressure plate balanced at a machine shop before assembly to ensure no weird harmonics.
