an hour drive itself isn't a big deal
the problem is that they're not open on weekends so it's an hour drive that eats into work day time and also because it's a longer drive out of sf then back into sf, it's extremely susceptible to massive time delays due to traffic.
so i actually just did the paypal invoice, $350 painted and installed by them which is quite good for a bumper.
i'll be leaving at 8am sharp, be there by 9 through traffic, get it done in like 45 minutes, then be back to work at like 10:45, maybe 11, but that means i lost two hours of work i'll be making up.
wish they were open on saturdays, if only for a few hours

I imagine one takes on e39s will be very rare going forward, considering they've done several. I think the only reason I'd have mine on there is because cross country road trip and because manual swap wagon, maybe, in the future
